ABSTRACT
The Food and Drug Administration Modernization Act (FDAMA), Public Law No. 105-115, was enacted on November 21, 1997. This Act made numerous changes to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and the regulation of food, drugs, devices, and biological products. This chapter summarizes FDAMA’s effects upon the regulation of drugs and biologicals.
