ABSTRACT
Using dynamic HTML is a fast and convenient way to display most vital database performance indicators from the remote location. Any database administrator (DBA) can easily write and deploy custom HTML reports with Oracle Application Server (OAS). This chapter provides an introduction to the OAS dynamic HTML mechanism, shows how to create a secure database scheme for viewing performance data, gives tips for configuring OAS, and explains how to write and run a simple PL/SQL application.
