An approach to load analysis and stess testing

The issues discussed in this chapter are relevant to data-server load analysis and stress testing of custom or packaged applications on Oracle RDBMS. A comprehensive, enterprise-level test suite should also include components for network and middle-tier software/process server evaluation. The concepts described here may form the strategic back plane for application and sitespecific solutions for performance and scalability testing needs on Oracle platform.
