ABSTRACT
The job of IT people, both IT vendors and information system (IS) staff, in organizations is to make information technology seamless and easy, so that end users can do their jobs as easily and efficiently as possible. From the perspective of ease of use, it is the Web technology that can help. Webto-host connectivity tools are software products that ease the process of connecting to several types of host data (also known as legacy data), both from end users and state-of-the-art client/server (c/s) applications.
