ABSTRACT

Compression is the cornerstone of lymphedema management. During decongestive lymphatic therapy, multicomponent bandages with supplemental layers above have shown to be effective in reducing the volume of the limb. For maintenance treatment, custom-made, flat tissue garments, Compression Class 3—pressure range 34–46 mmHg (ccl3), have to be used during the day. Overlapping different garments can improve the doff and donning and can be useful to increase the pressure.
