ABSTRACT
This chapter introduces the idea of heterojunctions based on the characteristics of inorganic semiconductors and organic semiconductors and briefly reviews the research on organic and inorganic semiconductor nano-heterojunctions by different research groups. In this chapter, the classification is based on the main inorganic semiconductors of the heterojunction components, and the organic–inorganic semiconductor nano-heterojunctions based on the inorganic semiconductors, such as Cd-based, Zn-based, Ti-based, and Si-based, whose preparation method and application are outlined. This chapter will provide the reader with a better understanding of the choice of inorganic and organic materials to establish organic–inorganic semiconductor heterojunctions.
