ABSTRACT

Computational intelligence has been described as a practical solution to real life problems through various mechanisms, domains, and natural processes. In recent times, advancements in technology have created huge opportunities in the application of Internet of things (IoT) in diverse fields, particularly in medical sciences and healthcare. Fascinating products have been developed, like medical robotics, sharp sensors, smart healthcare, remote checking, and smart hospital, through the utilization of data and various algorithms. Computational intelligence employs the use of computational techniques in developing intelligent systems to tackle health challenges through the IoT applications. Over the years, increased attention has been generated from various stakeholders like researchers, industrialists, and government, owing to the fact that IoT and Computational intelligence have been predicted to reshape the healthcare system in different ways. Thus, this book chapter is focused on bringing notice to recent advances and innovation in the development and applications of computational intelligence in human healthcare, environmental healthcare, and agricultural healthcare sectors. Various opportunities and challenges of intelligent healthcare IoT are also highlighted.
