ABSTRACT

Several studies have proven that a virus can be transmitted from animals to human beings. In December 2019, such a transmitted coronavirus disease called COVID-19 began to spread in Wuhan, China. Forecasting the pattern of COVID-19 is a critical challenge. By collecting publicly available data, we designed the study, visualization, and prediction of confirming cases of COVID-19 by predictive modeling in order to understand trends of health information. Country-wide confirmed cases, recovered cases, deaths, and active illness in patients were plotted for analyzing and visualizing the spread of the disease. The problem of the new corona virus (COVID-19) spread in India has been investigated and a prediction model of reported cases prepared using FbProphet, a Machine Learning based time series prediction model, to generate accurate forecasts. The Prophet model, known as the best for the time series and anticipated in August 2020, is projecting this information as well as the trajectory of spreading. However, lock-down and isolation are the two significant strategies to prevent the spreading of this disease.
