ABSTRACT

Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) are common clinical problems in both paediatric and adult medicine. Over 9% of hospitalised children experience an ADR and 2% of paediatric admissions to hospital are the consequence of ADRs [1]. The toxicity of many medicines in children is different to that seen in adults.
