ABSTRACT
Actively working physicists usually take little interest in the past and I myself am not an exception-! began studying the theory of superconductivity in 1943 but only in 1979 did I find time to look through the classical papers of Kamerlingh Onnes (1853-1926). And I found them fairly interesting.
