ABSTRACT
We apply the notion of a σ-filtration to give uniform proofs of several results on the existence of homomorphisms between Boolean algebras, e.g. Mokobodzki’s theorem, Borel liftings of the measure resp. the category algebra, subalgebras and homomorphic images of P(ω)/fin.
