ABSTRACT
Radiative heat exchange plays an important role in many situations. In general, it has to be taken into account whenever the temperature on a visible surface of the system is high enough, or when other heat transfer mechanisms are not present (for example, in vacuum). In non-convex geometries, the radiative heat exchange between different surfaces leads to a non-local boundary condition on the radiating part of the boundary.
