ABSTRACT
Pharmacokinetics is a comparatively recent science which forms an increasingly important part of any new drug development program. So, what is pharmacokinetics and how is it used? Pharmacokinetics itself is not easily defined, but of the many definitions available, one of the simplest is “Pharmacokinetics is the study of the movement of drugs within the body and encompasses absorption, distribution, and elimination, i.e., what the body does to the drug.”
