ABSTRACT

The optical communication networks strategy is designed into three domains: network connectivity, network transition, and network routing. In this, the survivability plays a major role to protect the strategy against failures in regard to the same. In this chapter, the proposed model computes optical networking with respect to single and multiperiod computation (ONSMPC) implementation towards a design tool, i.e., the ring architecture topology, and provides diversified, adaptable, and extensible towards the design parameters. Further, it is also associated with ring to ring-mesh hybrid architecture and also the distributed algorithm in order to study the optical network generation. It also describes the optical network architecture which uses high demand fiber systems and lessens the devices required for optical signal transportation (OST).Canara Engineering College (Affiliated to VTU, Belagavi)
