ABSTRACT
Cyber-physical system (CPS) is an integrated idea, using cyber and physical components, to design competent software and hardware architectures. Due to cybersecurity attacks, creation of CPS has been a challenge, and ensuring the security of CPS systems is a difficult task. The aim of this chapter is to analyze the defense mechanisms to self-adaptivity, self-adaptive pattern analysis, and its classification. Further, the threats and attacks caused to CPS systems have been discussed, analyzed, and characterized in this chapter.
