ABSTRACT

Over the last 50 years, there has been a paradigm shift in breast cancer management from radical to less invasive surgeries, better adjuvant treatments, neoadjuvant pathways, availability of new molecular agents, and hypofractionated radiotherapies. All these changes are driven by well-designed breast cancer trials and have significantly improved breast cancer patients' survival and quality of life. This chapter summarizes the recent breast cancer trials for surgical management of breast cancer, which have significantly impacted clinical practice.
