ABSTRACT

The development of energy-related materials is crucial to reach efficient energy devices and overcome the increasing global energy demands. Over the past two decades, graphene-based materials have demonstrated to be a promising material in many fields owing to their exceptional properties such as a large surface area, high conductivity and good chemical and thermal stability. For this reason, they have been widely studied for energy conversion and energy storage devices such as electrolyzers, fuel cells, lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors and photovoltaic cells. In this chapter, significant advances for the recently graphene-based materials developed for these energy devices reported in recent years have been summarized.
