ABSTRACT
The first part of this chapter explains how mobile communication technology achieves two basic functions in the information age, including communication and Internet of Things (IoT). From a communication perspective, the evolution of mobile communication systems, especially the emerging 5G technology, will bring us an unprecedented amount of applications with its high-speed transferring. From another perspective of the IoT, due to its huge business value in logistics industry, the application of IoT covering complete phases from beginning to the end of logistics industry has already matured and the existing problems are pointed out with corresponding solutions in advance.
