ABSTRACT
Sign Language Recognition has emerged as one of the important areas of research in Computer Vision. The difficulty faced by the researchers is that the instances of signs vary with both motion and appearance. In this paper, we introduce a sign language interpreter based on hardware and software .We suggest using gloves builder with hardware to recognize hand gestures. In this work we suggest to use a gyroscope to solve many problems accompanied the previous works (to our knowledge, our work is the first to have used gyroscope for this purpose). In addition, we suggest including neural network in the software to enhance the recognition and make the gloves suitable for any language. The proposal recovers many problems and enhances recognitions. The performance of recognition, continuous words reaches up to 83.5.
