The research aims to test the behavior of portfolio investment risk aversion in making investment decisions with a cross-gender portfolio in Indonesia. Experimental testing was used to measure portfolio investment risk avoidance behavior. Consequently, the purpose of this research is to contribute to accounting studies on portfolio investment risk avoidance behavior when making investment decisions with a cross-gender portfolio, particularly in Indonesia. The study population was all students of Masterx of Accounting Science from the University of Lampung, while part of the population was also sampled from students pursuing the Theory of Financial and Capital Markets. The study is unique in the sense that it employed the use of different measurement variables that are predominantly used in Indonesia. These techniques are referred to as experimental methods.
