ABSTRACT

This study aims to provide a conceptual investigation of the effect of Good Governance on the level of criminal acts towards corruption in the Asia-Pacific region. Besides, it is a conceptual paper that discusses issues related to the possibility of indicators of Good Governance to control the level of corruption. Previous theoretical studies have shown the significant effect of several indicators, including government effectiveness, democracy, and accountability on the level of corruption, and on this basis, it was temporary concluded that Good Government Governance has a negative correlation with the level of corruption.
