ABSTRACT
The main activity of a tricolologist is performed eminently in the physician office. Trichology consultation usually follows the classic medical tradition of a small office with a table and chairs for the doctor and patients. The existence of a table is usually the focus of the medical office since it is the place where the medical history is performed and the treatment is explained. The regulations regarding the processing of the medical record are variable in each country, although currently it tends to be carried out digitally, so it is usually recommended to have a computer at the desk. Nowadays, the clinical physical examination of the patient is complemented by the use of dermatoscopy. The importance of trichoscopy in the trichology consultation is increasing and for many specialists it is a mandatory test. In the trichology consultation it is obligatory to carry out clinical photos and it is advisable to perform trichoscopic photographs.
