ABSTRACT

The model contributes to clarify what characterises the different Facilities Management (FM) provisions – in the model called products, which an organisation demands, and how the process for delivering the provisions is arranged in the most appropriate way. The need for FM provisions and the relation between the FM organisation and the customers can be in different positions in the matrix. The model points to products with low complexity, and customisation are best delivered with an arm’s-length relationship between the customer and the provider. The head of FM and top management of the corporation together decide how the FM provisions are delivered in the best possible way. Describe the current situation of how FM is implemented in the corporation, and create an overview of practitioners’ FM products, as well as the way they collaborate with providers of the different products.
