ABSTRACT

Motors are used widely in industrial applications as driving devices and scientific research as dynamical mechanical power sources. The efficiency of motors degrades as running time goes by. Accordingly, the present study aimed to investigate fault detection in a three-phase servo motor t drived by an automatic control system composed of another servo motor and test bench. Through a self-made platform, the sensing resistance of the motor coil is detected, and the fault can be determined through the data comparison result. Through this detection method, the loss caused by the motor disassembly can be effectively avoided.
