ABSTRACT

Taiwan lacks its own sources of energy and depends on imported energy. Teaching the people of Taiwan how to save energy is a very important issue. The designed system integrates an embedded system, a fingerprint reader, a database, a network and 4G transmission techniques. The designed system can be used in offices, homes and government buildings. The experiments show that the designed system works correctly in an office. In this paper, we designed a security and energy-saving system to overcome the above problems. The proposed system integrated embedded systems, fingerprint recognition, a database, a network and 4G transmission techniques. The designed system can be used for signing in when employees arrive at work. The designed system automates the process of turning the power on or off of when the employee signs in or out. In addition, a fingerprint recognition system was used to provide security for a drawer.
