ABSTRACT

The twenty-first century has observed prolific progress of cloud computing paradigm. Many individuals and organizations are now heavily dependent on cloud services to run their operations and businesses. Many aspects of cloud computing are still in development under intense observation of the research community. The underlying requirement of cloud computing is a network that empowers connection among stake holders and resources. Security of resources, specifically data, is a key concern along with right deployment of resources to deliver optimal performance. This work proposes two efficient approaches together toward reliable service execution of cloud. One part provides an ant colony optimization (ACO) approach for dynamic resource scheduling and the other part ensures secure auditing of data during dynamic resource allocation. Experimental analysis shows performance improvement in terms of response time, auditing time, successful resource allocation, and average utilization of servers with different volume of clients among all available servers.
