ABSTRACT
The aim of the study is to create the an end-to-end technology of already teaching BIM with the acquisition of basic skills in the first year of education at the university. Both the Moodle and MOOC technologies are used. The first-year student’s task is an Autodesk Revit 3D project of a low-rise residential building. From semester to semester the designed project becomes more complicated: a restaurant, a school, a high-rise block of apartments, a shopping and recreation center. Constructional design is supplemented by FEM calculations of structures and HVAC, construction management plan and cost calculations. The training system developed by the authors can be introduced in other universities.
