ABSTRACT

Civil engineering exponentially heads towards renewable energy sources in all types of buildings. The use of solar energy is one of the alternatives that can be applied in a good ratio of demands for space, price and resultant benefits. Building information modelling is a modern and highly effective way of solution of buildings with regard to all aspects of the life cycle. Virtual reality allows people to immerse themselves in artificial worlds, to create visual, auditory and tactile experiences that affect humans through computers. Augmented reality is a combination of real world with additional 2D or 3D digital information. Blending of digital elements into the real space can be a key to improve the design practice, subsequent maintenance or more effective reconstruction. The article describes benefits that arise from the use of modern technologies when applied to the management, maintenance and implementation of solar systems.
