ABSTRACT

In the context of traditional building materials, construction companies are increasingly offering new and modern full-bodied alternatives to housing. One of them is the modern prefabricated structural systems based on wood. Despite the undeniable benefits associated with wood-based buildings, they prevent them from widening the low awareness among investors and consumers of these structures. An important factor in deciding the majority of investors when purchasing wood-based buildings are quality parameters of construction, construction time and mainly procurement costs. For this reason, we have decided to carry out a survey aimed at examining the impact of the procurement method on existing wood buildings in the context of construction time and acquisition costs.
