ABSTRACT

At special values of the system parameters, it can happen that having the same inter-element interactions some order emerges in space and/or time. We can find self-organizing processes in various domains of the nature as physics, chemistry, biology, robotics, various networks, medicine economy, sociology or politics. The study of self-organization can be performed in experimental and in a theoretical way as well, but it must be mentioned that the application of modern computers is essential in the study of such kind of processes. The concept of the problem of self-organization goes back to the ancient Greek philosophy to the question of formation organized structures from the chaos in space or in time or in both. Descartes studied the philosophical problem of organized matter formation using the laws of nature. Kant used the first time the term self-organization when he studied the special property that distinguishes a living system from a collection of inanimate matter.
