ABSTRACT

This study aimed to explain the procedure for developing and testing the feasibility of a multimedia learning tool. The multimedia was developed using a modified model development procedure derived from Gall et al. (1996) and Alessi and Trollip (2000). The data in this study were quantitative in nature in the form of product assessment scores, which were converted into qualitative data using a five-point scale conversion table. The results of the feasibility test conducted by one teacher showed a value of 4.06 with the category of “Good”. The results of the feasibility test conducted by 25 students demonstrated an average value of 4.27, giving a category of “Very Good”. These results show that multimedia for learning Gamolan falls into a category of “Feasible” for use in teaching music.
