ABSTRACT

the aim of this study is to determine the increase in student achievement and activity in a research methodology course through classroom interaction learning methods. the quality of classroom interaction affects the quality of student achievement and satisfaction in gaining experience and knowledge of the material learned. the research method used is classroom action research. this method is an effort by the lecturer to improve student achievement in the research method course. in its implementation, students are given the opportunity to follow all kinds of steps. the results of this study showed that there is a significant increase in student achievement as evidenced by the average pre-test and final test scores of 61.289 and 76.816, respectively.
