ABSTRACT

Augmentative releases of Spalangia endius Walker in conjunction with cyromazine against field populations of Musca domestica L. at caged layer installations were effective in controlling the M. domestica populations. Manure management is vital when using either biological control or chemical control or combinations of both against populations of M. domestica. Monitoring the third instar larval populations provided a reliable method for evaluating the effectiveness of the parasite releases and the cyromazine treatment.
