ABSTRACT
The adoption of new technology is lower in the livestock business than in industries where the driving force is strictly profit. However, those starting out in the livestock business that must make a living from their livestock better have their head screwed on right as to their attitude and image. Even though the people experience problems and hardships, most of them are able to stay in the livestock business, enjoy what they do, and make a living. The land is going to be farmed and livestock is going to be produced in the country to provide our people with food. Directly or indirectly, reproduction processes create our food supply, and there is no other way. Not only are these processes the basic source of man's food, but this process also yields the oxygen that man and other animals must breathe to sustain life.
