ABSTRACT
This chapter describes augmented and virtual reality, their role in the formation of Industry 4.0, and their impact on the development of the fourth industrial revolution. In the context of the history of the formation of augmented and virtual realities, it will be shown at what stage virtual and augmented realities are at today, which industrial and business sectors actively use augmented and virtual realities, and in which industries they are gaining strength. The chapter gives an overview of the future development of augmented and virtual realities in industry and business.
