ABSTRACT

Inspired by the concept of urban information modeling, this study focuses on the research of the information visualization of large-scale dynamic urban systems. In addition, in response to new generation learning modes and characteristics, this study uses the tangible user interface to develop an innovative design platform based on parametric computing tools to extract and integrate urban information for presenting a dynamic urban system. Such parametric interactive learning tools and platform using tangible visualization computations could provide a more intuitive way to communicate and manipulate urban information for interdisciplinary integration and collaborative design.
