ABSTRACT

Based on the higher requirements of “the Belt and the Road” development strategy for engineers, combined with the development prospects of internationalization of bridge engineering, the teaching process of the bilingual course “Bridge Engineering” is reformed. Taking language as the medium, and professional knowledge as the main line, the basic knowledge fragments are comprehensively sorted out. By comparing the differences between Chinese and foreign projects, integrating aesthetics and cultural education, students’ “global view” and “future view” are cultivated, and students’ enthusiasm for exploration in professional fields is inspired to meet the requirements for engineers under the development strategy of “the Belt and the Road.”
