ABSTRACT

Due to agricultural transition and an aging agricultural population on average for the past few years, young people that are limited to a traditional stereotyped impression of agriculture neither know much about it nor are willing to dedicate themselves to it. As a result, it is the objective of this research that children of school age may develop knowledge and an interest in agriculture through interactive farm application games. Literature review was conducted for an understanding of children’s cognition of agriculture. The method of case study was also used to locate and interpret the issues of the objects under study. It was found that the interactive app game of Little Angel’s Farm could motivate childrens’ interest in agriculture via incorporation of technology since they had fun playing the game, felt comfortable with agriculture, had an understanding of planting vegetables and fruit, and created little farms that belonged to them.
