ABSTRACT
This paper presents the results of Plaxis 3D-assisted numeric modeling of the stress-deformed state of the soil mass installed with Fundex piles. The modelling of pile installation process followed the technique of “pile strips” – the narrow hollows that are filled with a conventional, constant-volume material, to which vertical pressure is applied, in the pile head plane, to model the load created by the penetrating tip.
