ABSTRACT

Social entrepreneurship education is increasingly included in the programs of study and the curricula of literally every level and type of education. In this chapter, we discuss a course within the initial early childhood teacher education, focusing on social entrepreneurship. The course’s focus, form, method, content, and outcomes reflect the view that entrepreneurship expands beyond business creation, maintenance, and development, towards nurturance of an entrepreneurial mindset, enabling future teachers to identify creative ideas and turn them into actions.
