ABSTRACT

“Education for sustainability” (EfS) or education for sustainable development (ESD) provides a pedagogical and educational framework that seeks for solutions on sustainability issues, since the current educational system cannot sufficiently tackle with contemporary and future issues on sustainable development. In this paper, we develop a new pedagogy in order to address efficiently sustainable development. We consider co-creative and innovative practices for higher education students to support them develop their skills by using approaches based on design thinking. Moreover, students learn in an experiential way to exploit entrepreneurial thinking in order to reach opportunities for their future while – at the same time – retaining the health of our planet.
