ABSTRACT

This chapter reveals that paired row system of planting (60 x 50; 90 x 50 cm), 150% pan evaporation along with 125% N fertigation recorded higher green fodder yield of Bajra (pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum)) and Napier hybrid grass (Pennisetum purpureum) var. CO(CN)4. Drip irrigation resulted in the considerable saving of irrigation water beside enhancing the water use efficiency over the surface method of irrigation.
