ABSTRACT
The effect of the variation of the bed roughness coefficient and the bed width values to flood wave propagation and thus to flood risk is studied here. The hydrodynamic module of the MIKE 11 software package is used for the prediction of the flood wave propagation. Application area is a high flood risk agricultural area close to the junction of Pinios and Enipeas rivers in central Greece.
