ABSTRACT
This paper describes an original generic purpose genetic algorithm that is absolutely effective and yet simple to use. The cost of this effectiveness is a little loss of efficiency due to the well known No Free Lunch theorem. Nevertheless the algorithm proposed here has a very good efficiency in all of our test cases covering a wide range of problems.
