ABSTRACT

Various geological information may be extracted from data of a given geological body. They can be measured in field or obtained in laboratories. Usually geological data are spatially scattered and discontinuous. Therefore, for treating geological data and simulating various geological bodies, mathematical fitting functions are necessary. In this paper several types of fitting functions have been established. For the purpose of realizing three dimensional mathematical simulation of geological bodies and their graphical display, special programs have been compiled. Using these programs regularities in distribution of geological data and spatial characteristics of geological bodies can be illustrated. Three dimensional mathematical models of geological bodies and their graphical display are powerful tools for geological studies and they can raise efficiency of geological works obviously.
