ABSTRACT

In this paper, the author proposes a new theory and method: the phase-separation analysis of remote sensing information field of metallogenetic environment and nonmodel ore-deposit prediction. By means of the theory and method, through decomposing and feature extracting of multisource information field of geological, geochemical and geophysical data based on RS, GIS and GPS techniques, a natural source model of ore-deposit can be established in order to predict the related deposits accurately. The theory and method have been practically applied in many tested areas and the effects are remarkable.
