ABSTRACT

The main results are given and conclusions are drawn in accord with the experimental study of the porosity and pore structure of plasma sprayed (APS and LPPS) Al2O3, ZrO2 and their metal-oxide composites.

For the detailed description of the pore structure according to the mechanism of their development in plasma sprayed oxides and composites on their base as well as their geometry and size the profound classification of porous structure elements is suggested.

The general model development of plasma sprayed oxide structure to determine some relationships between porous structure parameters and some properties, for example thermoconductivity, are presented.
