ABSTRACT
New developments in the non-destructive testing of plasma-sprayed metallic and ceramic coatings will be presented. The basic method of holographic soundfield visualization has been extended in frequency for the purpose of detecting cracks in a surface layer.
Experimental results on the detection and evaluation of cracks and bonding flaws in different coatings will be discussed.
