ABSTRACT
Plasma flame spraying of TBC is of great significance in developing new types of aeroengines. The key to spraying TBC is in improving the thermal shock resistance of coating. The influence of certain factors on thermal shock resistance of ZrO2.MgO coating and the major performance of ZrO2.MgO/NiCoCrALY coating are reported and discussed in this paper.
