ABSTRACT
Proton transfer from one atom to another is the most widely occurring reaction in all branches of chemistry, including biochemistry. In this entry, we will be presenting how different characteristics, like electronic properties or molecular topology, affect the basicity in water of different families of polyamine molecules. The families will include open-chain, monocyclic, or bicyclic polyamines.
